I used the “Clone Stamp Tool” to cover the word that belongs to the original image.

I select “Image”, and select “Adjustment” to change the original picture color.

I select “Levels…” to change it color which can change the brightness or color. I made the angel more likely to a human skin’s color but not too light as the original picture.

I use the “Type tool” to type my song lyric and the song name.

I also use the “Burn Tool” on the angel face to make it more likely a human color skin.

I also “burn” the angel’s wings to make it darker in color. And nose, to make the angel feel like crying (show the sadness).

I copy the part of the end of the wings to make the layout which have the longer length than the height. This is to make the whole image looks longer and more suit to the image.

Now is time to PhotoShop the god image.

After finish blurring the god image, I decide to put the following image on the top of the right. To make it more likely the “Father” are watching the people.

The word that I type in the song lyric and song name, I use the white color to make the word are more distinctness and clear.

For the song lyric, I make a “Drop Shadow” to make the lyric more clearly. I used the black in color to do as the shadow.

For the song name, I also “Drop Shadow” on it. I used the color of nearly brown as the color of the shadow.

The reason why I choose this song, “Bye Bye”, is because I think this song is very meaningful and touchful. This song is mostly described that the people who still living are still very missed the people who had passed away.

Design:

The effects that I wish to make in this assignment are the angel praying for the people who had passed away and the sadness when missing them.
So I would like to search for the angel praying image.
And the god is above the sky and surrounded by the people that had passed away (this would show how the people living in heaven when their life had finish).

The image was chosen and details:

The reason that I choose this angel praying image is because of there’s an angel, and he still a small boy who look very innocence with his hands together. And another reason is this image is quite a painting and a painting always looks warm, as this image show to us. And another reason that I selected this god image is because of the god does surrounded by the peoples. And it also a painting effect image.

All of the subjects put together and came my final assignment.

-Use pen tool to make the outline of a board. Apply the color from

the selected gradient . The "Earth forcusing to be burn" is made

by the type tool .

-Use pen tool . Apply the color and use color gradient to make is more

-Use pen tool to maje the outline. Apply the color by the color dropper

tool. And create the gradient mesh on it to make the different of the

color from the different light sight.

-Use the pen tool to make the white line which represent the

broken shield (layer of exosphere). The circuit is made by the

circuit tool . The color that I apply on it is can be select in the

gradient box.

The Earth

Use pen tool . color dropper for this whole Earth. Apply the color from the refences of the Earth.

My sketch of global warming

This is my sketch of global warming. Now, I would like to explain why I sketch in this way. 1st of all, is main character is Earth . And the point that I want to show in my sketch is the protection of the Earth ( which mean the exosphere , thermosphere , mesosphere , stratosphere , or troposphere) such most of the ozone layer is getting weaker and weaker . I use the scared glass to show that the Earth is going damaged. And the magnifier is to shows that the sunlight is started focus to the Earth (especially the sea - as the temperature is getting higher and higher [warmer] ) . And for sure , the haze around the Earth is necessary appear to show the pollution which produce by human ( especially industry sector ) .

My reference

Seems that our lecturer show us the movie which is about the global warming, I think I know what a global warming is and the behind dangerous message to our Earth. Besides this 2 pictures are my references (about the global warming).

This is My Real Final Calendar

My working steps

For pumpkin, I use the the circuit toll to make a circuit which is for my pumpkin out line.

I also use the line segment tool to make my pumpkin's eyes. For my whole "OCTOBER" , I used the typing tool to type the "CTOBER" ,because my alphabet "O" have substitute with my large pumpkin. The mouth of my pumpkin is written as "HALLOWEEN". For the "HALLOWEEN", I use the pen tool to make the word out line . After that, I drop a shadow for my mouh "CTOBER". which is together with my pumpkin. For the pumpkin, I use Eyedropper tool to drop the color in the pumpkin and the "CTOBER".

For bats, all of my bats are draw by pen tool. After finish make the out line of my bats. I use the live paint tool to paint my bats - which is all in color black . All my bats also had add the effect of drop shadow.

All of my word are typed by the typing tool.

For the whole grave yard, I use the pen tool to make the out line. After that I use the Eyedropper tool to drop the color on it - which is in color of black. However I had make the gradient color on it - above is higher brightness and getting dark on the ground.

For my moon, I use the circuit toll to make the shape for my moon. After that , I drop the color of the light yellow - I also add the outer glow effect on it to make it look more natural while hanging on the sky.

Statement 2 for my calendar

"Halloween is scaring". This is my simplified statement. I use the grave yard to represent the emotion of scaring ( because people used to think grave yard is a scaring place , so I use the selected whole picture from google image result as the background), and together with the bats, which always appear in the night. I use less pumpkin in my calendar ( because the grave yard had filled all the part of the ground). But I still wish to use at least 1 pumpkin in my calendar, so I would like to substitute the alphabet of "O" with the pumpkin.

Statement for the choosen month - October

My statement for the Halloween ( October ) is "Halloween is night event, belongs to darkness and it should be scaring" . So I use the grave yard to represented the scaring emotion in Halloween. Of couse, I'll use bats to represent the darkness power - which mean the evil. As the darkness, I would like to use the night ( dark or black in color ) as the background color. The pumpkin- which I would like to put the evil pumpkin together in my calendar. However if I put the pumpkin on the grave, it would be make the whole image looks weird. So I decided to let the pumpkin be the alphabets of capital letter "O" for the October. It wil looks more normal for the whole image.

The most important thing to represent in Halloween - Pumpkin

Another one of the most important thing in Halloween - Pumpkin. The pumpkin also should looks devil. The right side picture which I had found in google.com image research , this pictures been choose by me. As a reason, this pumkin looks evil enough and the word of "HALLOWEEN" had writen as it's mouth. It is so powerful to let people know that- "Oh~Is Halloween now~" .

I choose to make the October Calendar. The festive that I choose is Halloween.This is the pictures that I found in google.com image research. I wound like to use this picture as a big background for the month of October. For me, the Halloween should be belongs to the darkness power and scaring. And as the custom of represent darkness power, devil shall take the place. And for the devil, it should represented by the bats because the bats are belongs to the darkness.

My Personal Symbol - Final Decision Color

I decided to change the wings's color.It is because of the wings preview color are too deep for 'flying up'. So I decide to change the deep blue to the light blue.

1st of all, I would like to introduce my zodiac year. I was born in 1989 which is the zodiac that year was snake. Snake people are often quite vain, selfish, and a bit stingy. I'm a girl who very likes to challenge the new term and accept the challenge. I was very looking toward that after I handle all the challenge which stage that I would be reach. I'm a quite self-centered person. I'm a person who put so much emphasize in the personal freedom. I was very sensitive in this matter. From this symbol I'll make myself to be the most authorized for in charge in my life. I don't like other people that try to control my life, because I'm quite a closed-minded person. Because of closed-minded, I'm a quite silent, talk less and a negative thinking girl. I'll simply get depresses because of the negative thinking. I'm also a girl who has many ideas but all will keep in my heart and I'll be the only one who knows it. I'm the person who can't do well in sharing. That's also shows why I keep all idea inside my mind.

My Personal Symbol made in Illustrator CS2 -Without Color

This is my personal symbol by using Illustrator CS2 . I haven color this symbol because I haven decide the color that I shall use. I may use 4 to 5 color in this symbol which each color has it's own meaning.

This is my personal symbol after doing the researh and think. The snake represent my zodiac year. The sword that represent as my favourite - challenge . The wings are represent as my mind ( Idealism) and being emphasize on personal freedom. The king crown coud shown that I'm the person who in charge of my own life.

The wings that I most like - 3 type

These are the wings that I most like in most of the type of wings. Between these 3 wings, I would choose the third wings to become part of my personal symbol. The reason why I choose it because it is the only wings which looks like flying up. This would mean I'll going higher and moving forward - for accept the challenge. Wings also use to mean freedom and my mind can think whatever I want (idealism).

In this 1st sketch of my personal symbol. I would like to use the king crown to represent that I'm the one who in charge of my own life. I use wings to shows that I'm a person who put emphasize in personal freedom and I'm a idealism. The snake which I put it in the middle of the circle is to represent that I was born in the zodiac year of snake. And the circle, it is a tradition symbol that shows that I'm a chinese which named as " Yin- Yang" in the history of chinese.

Something that challenge for me - Sword

Sword - is one of the thing that I like. Sword are very unique and dangerous if we don't know use it.The reason why I so like in sword , it is because that sword can represent as a challenge for me. It might be dangerous if you don;t know how to use it. However it can be a strong weapon for you if you know how to use it wisely. So, I wonder to use the sword in my personal symbol. For the best reason, I like to challenge new term and like accept the challenge- for me to get a better life.
